Eye D

Photography is 10% equipment and 90% eye, but most people treat it like it’s the other way ’round. Getting expensive equipment you can’t really use, though, is a lot easier than learning to do it right.
But once you do learn, expensive equipment really does help you. Before that, it’s just a huge hindrance.
Oh believe me I know! The problem for a photographer who is used to being able to do certain things (even with crappy equipment) is that when they no longer have that capability (ex. macro and wide-angle) they become hindered. Its like taking away one of their eyes, it can destroy their vision/ability to capture light.
Sighs.
